How to STOP Excel from changing my data

Hi,

I'm working in Microsoft Excel Mac version.

I need to enter '3E11'in a cell. But it keeps changing it to 3E+11 or 300000000000.

I've Googled and changed settings to manual etc. But it keeps changing. Anyone who knows how to fix this?

format the cells as Text before entering the value or write an
apostrophe in front of your value:
'3E11
